From the Principal's Desk Dear Parents and Guardians. It is with immense pride and joy that I welcome you to the new chapter of Light House Kindergarten. Expanding into this new space is not just about adding classrooms; it's about creating a sanctuary for childhood, where children are free to learn, grow and discover themselves. Our core belief, Let Children Be Children, was born out of my own experiences as an educator and as someone who has witnessed the magic that happens when children are allowed to thrive at their own pace. I remember a little boy from our preschool who was shy and hesitant to speak in group settings. Over time, through gentle encouragement and activities tailored to his interests, we saw him blossom-sharing stories, helping his peers and growing into a confident, expressive child. This transformation is a reminder of why we do what we do because every child deserves a space where they feel safe, valued and celebrated. Our curriculum is a blend of some of the world's most respected educational philosophies From Montessori, we embrace independence and hands-on exploration, Finland's play-based learning inspires us to prioritize emotional well-being alongside academics. The Reggio Emilia approach honors the many ways children express themselves and the Waldorf philosophy nurtures creativity and imagination. Together, these approaches create a foundation for holistic development, where intellectual, emotional and social growth happen naturally and joyfully.
